Quilting Basics and Ruler Work for Beginners

Have you thought about or been wanting to try quilting on your own sewing machine? In this class you will learn about free motion quilting and a hint of ruler work. Come learn from one of our qualified educators! Learn everything to get your quilting adventure started! We will even have an intro into ruler work using Westalee Rulers! Learn each step with tips and tricks! 

Things we will provide: Thread, quilting needles, and practice fabric.

Supply List:

• Sewing machine, extension table(if you have one for your machine)
• Foot pedal
• An empty bobbin
• Open toe quilting foot or a closed toe foot
• Quilting gloves or grippers (if you have them)
• A silicon glider
• Ruler foot and rulers if you have them. This will be the afternoon session. We will have rulers for you to try.
